DQ 8: Hope to get hit or play safely?

We aren't hoping to get hit by playing 10/7 10/6. We're hoping to be missed and save ourselves some pips/timing by not tossing checkers deep into our homeboard already. Playing both off the ten also allows us to kill sixes whereas the safe dumpy play does not.
