Usually, you want to hit your opponent in the bear off to slow them down. Here, the race lead is so large that you don't need to slow her down. The paucity of gammons and white's strong board make me think simple ripping off two wins more games. Putting her on the roof gives her more chances to hit us while preserving her strong board.
