15/8 leaves 17 shots if I counted right. Making the deuce point only leaves 11 and makes a fifth homeboard point. 15/9 15/14 dupes 2s and while it leaves a double shot it only leaves 15 shots

Clearing from the rear is more flexible while making the deuce just postpones the almost inevitable shot, so that might be the bot play. But my game plan with a nice race lead is to win by racing. Also, "don't volunteer a shot in a holding game" is standard advice, and while we have to leave a shot here, the extra four or six shots make me think making the deuce is the better option. Not sure, but 15/9 15/14 looks better than 15/8 and making the deuce looks a bit better than 15/9 15/14.
