DMP bearoff with contact

In Response To: DMP bearoff with contact (ah_clem)

Because it is DMP, we are looking for winning safely a simple game.
With 3 checkers back for White waiting for a shot until the very end, we should aim for even loaded points.
So 5/4 5/3 may make the difference. Can we deduce a general rule ?
