Well, the "rare as hen's teeth" I was referring to was a position where it is correct to cube to "activate gammons" due to the Jacoby rule, not necessarily a Kauder Paradox position.

I almost never play with Jacoby/Beavers and for the most part just ignore that aspect of the game. It leads to few errors (which pale in comparison to my other errors).
