Such hibrid play leaves 4 blots when white has fine prime and only partially 'done something' with our back checkers. We are outboarded so why take such risk? You can fine your self with four checker behind white's prime very easy. I learn from bots than hibrid plays with doubles which split back checkers and create new blots are rarely correct. For example 22: 24/22 13/11 6/4(2)
But also learn that have to work hard to avoid being blocked. Backgammon is race. 24/22(2) should be part of any serious candidate.
