Did I recently hear someone say "cover a blot on your ace at the first opportunity"? I think I did.

Am I going to do that here? No. It's almost a backgame, with not quite enough timing, but pure play and mobility are usually paramount in these kinds of positions and making the ace doesn't meet either of those.

The pure play would be to slot the four and seven points, but that seems way too loose. 13/7 looks playable, but it leaves four points stripped outside the homeboard while stacking the six. So, I'll just run to the midpoint and dare her hit me and wreck her timing.
