In the actual game I made the 3 pt. What Snowie is probably seeing is the most likely scenario is if I make my 5 pt. this turn then I'll continue the attack next turn pushing White further back while if I simply point on White right now making the 5 pt. in the future will always be a daunting task. This is my best guess
