Decades ago, I would have doubled some players on the hopes of a pass. I am dubious that any open-level player would pass today. That said, I can't help but wonder if someone mis-doubled and/or someone mis-passed given that this position is being posted!

I'm skeptical of a theoretical money double even after making the 4pt and Opp breaks her midpoint (e.g., both sides roll 43), though it would be a great practical double against timid opponents. From that perspective, it seems like a shameful waste of a ploy to have doubled a roll earlier.
