Making the four point anchor seems mandatory. Then, 24/23 accomplishes nothing, 11/10 accomplishes little, 8/7 is something only a "mad backgame player" would do. 6/5 is often right in situations like this - unstack and slot a valuable point. Yeah, a lot of shots with an even race makes me wonder if it's the right idea, but I'll give it a try.
