I like 16/11, 16/13. We’re hoping for a shot and this maintains good contact. For the same reasons, we want to hold the mid as long as possible, and this helps do that. Plus, the 16 point is not one we care to hold much longer, certainly not at the expense of other points or positioning. Anchoring gives White some much needed flexibility and should be avoided—it undermines our game plan.
