A Back Game Decision

It's DMP, so the backgame strategy is not as poor a choice as is the usual. But, 50 pips of timing is not usually enough for a backgame, so giving up more timing by hitting and covering seems anti-positional.
Banana split, anyone? DMP is the optimal time to play it, and if it forces a hit blue gets the needed timing while white may still be stuck behind a four prime. The double-edge is that blue will be stuck behind a five prime and may crunch before white.
Other plays look too passive. 11/10 8/2*.
