Leaving a blot on the 7 gives white 11 shots while hitting on the five point gives her 13 shots, but should win a few more gammons. Are the extra gamons worth the two extra shots? Also, the safer play will be easier to clean up if white misses.

I'm not sure how to calculate this. At DMP or GS I'd make the safer play. At GG I'd hit loose. Since I often get dinged for not being aggressive enough I'll go for the loose hit.
