Make the seven point, poh on the deuce, or escape with tempo?

The three point is a POS, so running off it with tempo looks pretty good. Unlike the other two candidate plays, it sends a third checker back and takes a bigger lead in the race. But I'm not sure where to play the four.

Slotting the seven or nine seems most aggressive, and that's often the right idea when there's one on the roof. Bringing one down doesn't seem to leave any more shots (didn't count) and brings a tenth checker into the zone, so it looks a bit better. Not sure what 22/18 or 8/4 accomplish, so down it is.
