A couple of interesting situations in this match which sparked some debate in the chat during the match:

- Dirk getting sparring from Mochy and the bot during a break. It is apparently OK according to the new rules from 2024, but it didn't feel fair to some of the spectators one of which commented in the chat: "Now bring in Vlad and tell him about his bearoff errors".

- Vlad bearing off 3 checkers when it was only possible to bear off 1 checker with a 55. Dirk insta-rolled and play continued as if nothing had happened. Not much a monitor/referee could have done to correct it because Dirk rolled immediately.
