Closed out on the bar with five off is about 23% GWC, assuming all of white's checkers are on the ace. Subtract a bit for the additional wastage and add some for the fact that white is not closed out and it seems to be right around the take point.

Not sure, so definitely ship it.

Seems that the chances of white shaking a six and then waltzing around the board is stronger than the additional wastage v. the reference position so I'll say take.
