Looks close but I think your equity is slightly higher if you don't recube. If you do recube, you'll win about 22 of your 24 hits and lose all of your 12 misses. If no recube, you'll win all 24 of your hits and a little over 2 of your 12 misses. Winning 26 games at the 2 level gives the same equity as winning 22 at the 4 level, so not recubing should be the slightly better choice.
