Position of the Day 02-13-26

We all know there's hardly anything in this decision but I often come across these positions where I have a random ace to play, trying to save the gammon, the opponent is on an X roll position, I have my open ace point and the question is, do I push that ace into the outfield or do I play 2/1? Maybe if I post them when I come across them I'll notice a pattern.
