I'm sure that's what this is about but it's a sad state for a sport if you allow people in that shouldn't be in because of the monetary gain. For eg. last year Bill Ackman, a 59 year old hedge fund billionaire, bought his way into an actual doubles ATP tournament via 'wildcard'. Tennis/ATP caught major flack for this. It makes a mockery of the sport.
