The late Paul Money (dorbel) used to say split early since the longer you wait the harder the decision becomes. Nine in the zone is a weak blitz, 11 in the zone is a strong blitz, and here we have a tweener with ten.

Can split, or do we sit on the ace point waiting patiently to lose?

I'm not seeing a good 3 after splitting, and the stack needs addressing, so I'll hit loose and bring one down. At least it's not passive.
