If this were a "rule of fours" holding game position, the rule is to double when the pipcount would indicate a pass without contact, and a take up to twice the point of last take. At 20 pips down, that would put the take decision right on the cusp.

So, the take decision seems to hinge on whether this is better or worse for white compared to a midpoint/four-point holding game with the same pipcount.

Looks to me to be a bit worse for white, so I'll go with pass. Blue is likely to expose a shot, but then white still has to hit it and I think there are enough outcomes that don't force a shot to drive white's GWC to the pass territory.

Cube seems obvious. R/P.
