Pretty much correct. You need a net of 9 market losers after deducting the anti-joker sequences from your ML count. i.e. If you have 11 ML'S but 3 anti-joker sequences, then you have a net of 8 ML'S. An anti-joker sequence is a real bad sequence for you after which the oppt will have a big advantage and might even be good enough to redouble. Here the anti-jokers occur on your bad 6s followed by a hit and cover or a hit and a dance by you.
You also have to be doing "alright" on all other sequences in order to have a cube. I guess most of the other sequences qualify as doing alright in this position.
I don't think D5 and D4 should count as ML'S since oppt will usually have a take unless they roll a poor racing number.
