I like the 18, with our next move either to get one of the back men moving toward getting in the action, or else starting to make new points on our side of the board. I also like the clean look of this play, no raggy loose ends we need to clean up and nothing for Evil Oppo to attack.
That said, I'm not very insistent about this play. I get these decisions wrong a distressing amount of the time.
