The Pip Counter is Our Friend, showing us that after this roll we likely won't have the timing to play from the 22-anchor. There are various ways to abandon or at least start dismantling it, including just yeeting it out to the 14 point.
That might be the best play, but I like 22/18, 13/9(3) better since it doesn't look that dangerous to leave the blot behind for now. Bringing the midpoint down to help block Evil Oppo from breaking away into a race looks thematic, and also makes it easy to eat a few bad rolls by dumping checkers behind the anchor if we have to.
