I've just read the whole 2009 thread that you gave a link to. Very interesting thoughts and conversations. I well remember reading about your report on this time out, whether then or in a subsequent link-up. Years later, I seriously doubted whether someone (and their doubles partner therefore) had really fractionally timed out, and as a massive favourite, in such an insane manner. I think I may have tried to find the post to re-read it, unsuccessfully. So it really did happen!

Jason Lee closed the thread with:

"His partner has an ironclad defense in a murder trial."

It's ironic, considering what happened just a few months later, where one of the posters on this same thread was finally convicted a decade on. I do hope J Lee hadn't put ideas in someone's head...
