From the home page here I used to have a link to book reviews before Flash was discontinued in 2020. Going from memory I think the book used positions where the second best play was at least .050 behind the best play. The quip I have for NIB:

Another top notch book by Woolsey if you ask me. Beyond the grasp of a beginner or even low level intermediate, you should have a couple books under your belt and some solid table time before jumping into this book to get the most out of it. I’ve spoken to a couple of “backgammon newbies” and they were lost in the terminology alone. Don’t let this dissuade you if you are a decent player, it’s a great read! The results are backed up not only by fellow world class players talking about and explaining the position, but by the modern day bot analysis of course.
