I know the 3 point anchor usually just loses me a single game instead of a gammon, but also doesn't win me much. But, I'm sure OTB I just play 18/14/10(2) . Block D5, use the checkers on the 13 to flow down for flexibility.

Seems to me with White having a checker already on the ace behind us the timing and flexibility is Ok for us.
