This is not going to be easy, is it?

One play could be making the 5. Pros: we are making out points in order. Cons: we have five chequers back, our timing is not perfect for a 1-2 backgame,

One play could be 8/4* 6/3*. Pros: we will gain much needed timing. Cons: gammon (backgammon?) risk.

Are there alternatives? Maybe 13/9 6/3*, but I do not thing the additional blocking power is much of use right now.

I will go with 8/4* 6/3*.
