Ahead in the race and facing a strong board, safe play seems the right approach - my game plan is to win by racing here.

16/8 or 16/13 6/1 would seem to be the two candidate plays. Maybe the bot likes the poh play, but it seems to leave too many shots for too little gain.

"Cover your ace point at the first opportunity" is the modern aphorism, but my take is that the ace point can wait since we don't need to hit anything anytime soon, so I'll just Pottle with 16/8.
