Most of the explanation was already given, do we want two more escaping numbers or do we want to kill sixes? I'm not sure but some part of the equation too may be how the board breaks in each scenarios with fours. One way you clear from the rear and hold a five point board longer. The other way with most of them we have to clear from the 5pt and it can get fuglier. Given that I'll take the more escaping numbers with the better busting fours and stay back on the 24pt.
