Over the board, I would play 11/8 4/3.

Is there something better? White has two blots in his home board, which he can cover with a 5, a 3 or a 2. Making the 10-point then does not seem a good move, as we are giving him more good numbers (1 and 4).

We could make the 3-point, but leaving two blots is needlessly dangerous.

8/4 could be more flexible, since we are ahead in the race.

I don't see how any of those moves are better than the safe play. 11/8 4/3.
