Too late, I played and hit the clock. But I changed my mind. The checker leaps to a nice position, and the race so sad if White enters right away. So now I don't see enough downside. Rather use the pips to race. Might even roll 65 and cover. I think I should've left it and I'll be thinking about it the rest of the session...
