Does score matter here? I don't think so. If blue isn't hit the gammons are almost a lock, so the DMP play should be sufficient.

Ripping off two leaves 11 shots and a one point board. Playing two off the 4 and 3 also leaves 11 shots but gives us a two point board. 4/2* 4/off 3/1 does the same. Are the extra 3 dancing numbers worth it? If white picks up a checker and closes us out, it's ~60% GWC vs 70% GWC vs ~77% GWC for 9 off vs 10 off vs 11 off.

Three extra dancing numbers seems to pale in comparison.

Ripping off two seems to be the "obvious" play, so QF indicates otherwise, but I'll stick with the obvious. 4/2*(2) 2/off(2)
