Hiya Nack, I obviously take note of the depth of your experience here and with backgammon generally.

I'm interested in the language part here, the word-coining aspect of this for my ongoing attempt to build a total Backgammon Glossary. Backgammon is generative of some great lingo, and this qualifies as that.

I hope you don't mind the narrow focus here, but you've been creating R4s for 20 years, so maybe it's interesting for you.

When does it become widespread enough to merit inclusion into a general glossary? For the cube-soaked Modern Backgammon era I went with: proof the word/term lasted more than two decades, and was acknowledged as a term by at least two recognized backgammon writers.

There are some great methodologies for glossary construction, I threw them in a pot and stirred them around. I like business glossary methodology for dealing with lingo, basically - include it if the term is durable. In hobby glossaries, they they toss as much lingo in as they can. It can be a bit of a book-selling technique, they hope your words are in there basically.

https://thebackgammoncafe.com/library/glossary -- is there a case for Nacked? Well, interesting. You and Stick are provably among the most prolific backgammon writers of the past 20 years. So, check. The word has been in use for, how long?
