Blue will still be down a little in the race after this play so I won't play 21/9 13/9. Keeping two checkers back allows you to anchor with an ace or make a point in White's outer board. I think the top two plays are to make the 9 and the 4 or to play 13/5 13/9(2). I'd make the former play - 13/9(2) 8/4(2). I don't think the score makes much of a difference in this position.
