If blue holds and misses, it's not quite game over, but probably enough for all practical purposes.

If he cubes and misses, white might play on for gammon, so again it's not 100% last roll.

If he cubes and hits, white still has some small chance of winning.

Do these slim chances make enough difference? I don't think so. 20/36 hits is more than 50% and it's close enough to last roll for me. QF says otherwise, but I'm going to ignore that as per usual.
