White lacks the timing to have a viable backgame, but still won't if we increase her timing by hitting. So, my first inclination is to not hit and let her either crunch or run off the high anchor, leaving an ace point game.

If we hit instead of anchoring she gains some timing and will hit our blots with impunity, but without necessarily improving her winning chances.

Anchoring seems like a simpler approach to securing a win. Hitting is a lot more complicated, and may be the bot play, but I'll take what looks to be more of a sure thing.
