And what do you think whats right? 18/12 makes a 6 prime with material to roll it forward. Plus you might pick up another checker.

I feel not be able a calculate how often an accident can happen when rolling home the prime. My best guess is between 3-7% but I'm happy to participate from knowledge of better players.

And take into account that the BGBlitz rollout used only 3-ply. I guess with 4 and 5-ply a bit more could be squeezed out (but I'm not patient enough)
