This is cool, is QF saying this is a take? Hmmm... If based on race alone and 10%+2 or 109 pips was about 23%, then maybe 1.6% per pip saying us trailing by 4 is 50%? (27%/16 pips) White would only have about 5% on the race. I used to use 5% for gaps and 2.5% for points to clear against holding games. (Although that was 25 years ago and every time I've tried it recently it's been way off, lol, so I must remember wrong, something from Robertie's AB books.) which would add 12.5% so about 18.5% chance for White. If hits are wins. But hits are not wins. Not sure if our awkwardness and future wastage bearing in makes the difference of Whites hits not being wins. Close, to me but I guess I pass. White waiting for a shot hurting his slim race chance and winning chances (if forced to break the board) makes up for our awkwardness and wastage. I double. Not too worried about perfect redoubles by White or losing a gammon.

Double/pass. To me the take/pass is close.
