Behind in the race with an advanced anchor, hitting seems mandatory. The question is whether to lift or leave the four point slotted.

I'd leave it slotted if there was a good way to play the ace. 9/8 seems a bit loose, but she only has 13 rolls that hit while after 9/8 there are at least 20 covers (I count 27, but that's probably wrong)

Seems like a good bet - gammons aplenty if we cover, still in the game if we're hit. Well, hit once - the 4 double fly shots are pretty bad.
