I don't think the race status leads to pick and pass especially with the stronger board and White with a blot over there. Although the checker on the 3 is at least a builder for the ace point where White may enter. Unsure only because three blots vs one and 13 shots vs none is a lot. Three of those are very bad rolls. I dont know if it applies in this type of thing but the 'big play when opponent owns the cube' versus smaller play toward a cube if you own it or in the middle, but its another thought.

(Honestly although pick and pass looks good avoiding all the shots and QF says might be right, I wouldn't have considered any other play. But one of the Heroes bots did a very similar pick pass to me this week and I was surprised.)
