The PoH plays look so awkward that there almost has to be something better. We just aren't that well set up to continue the blitz, not with checkers back and Oppo having a three point board, even though not the best quality.

23/8 13/8 looks reasonable, and leaves us with a cube-proof game for a while. I don't hate that play, but 21/11(2) looks best for containing his back man. He can still run his straggler out into a double shot, but then we'll have...well yeah, a double shot 😀 And if he doesn't run, we have a lot of rolls that will improve our own front position, making it harder and/or more dangerous for him to run later.

That play does leave Junior back on the 23 point, but Oppo isn't that well set up to blitz us, either. Our lone back man hinders his plans to build his board by making slotting too risky, so I'm not going to worry too much about Junior for now. I like 22/11(2)
