Where do *you* play BG online?

Heroes mostly. There's a bit of a learning curve to figure out all the options, and you have to watch out for people sneaking the clock-free option on you. Doesn't happen too often, since what it calls 'Standard' is actually slower-paced play than real life. The numbers represent normal clock speed, but it's different because none of your delay is spent picking up, shaking and rolling dice, nor do you lose time fat-fingering checkers. The mid-speed options are my preference, but I accept invites for almost everything except the extremes--Speedgammon is a No, and No-clock is an even bigger No.

Inviters can also include a no-pipcount option, which I'm fine with. Though I admit SMH at why it's often the lowest-rated inviters that ask to have it turned off. Do they figure you know better what to do with it than they do?

I also stop by at Grid, SHG and FIBS often enough to avoid losing my accounts there du to inactivity. That did happen to me one time at FIBS when I kind of forgot about it for over a year. Hmmm. When was the last time I played there? On my way right now >>
