I keep getting dinged lately for playing 'pure' and slotting, or hitting on the ace to force a checker forward for later safety, when ahead in the race. But I am doing one of those anyway since giving up the 13 point would leave a few extra shots anyway.

8/1*.

(Second 13/7, 8/7 Not liking losing the spare on the eight but hate 6 on the six a bit more. Will use the 8 point to attack or play behind if needed.)
