Because of the lack of spares on the White 13 pt, I would make the 3pt in order to strengthen the homeboard and leave the blot on the 14pt as a poisonous bait.

So I would welcome an exchange of hits and a disconnection of White rear points if hit, building an outside point or hit somewhere if possible at the next move.

Quite a lot of options.
