It's never going to be safer than right now to leave some blots in order to build a point closer to home that will either be good for blocking, for a landing spot, or at least be easier to clear safely later. Any play involving putting a checker on the 12 point leaves a chance they roll a 44, hitting and also covering one of their home board blots, so I'll go with 16/11. Next turn we can possibly make the 8, 9 or 10 points, or just complete the 11, an easier point to clear later than the 12 with either no indirect shots or at least no repeated ones.
