I think this is a tough play and I'd like to know what play you made OtB. My somewhat obvious two candidate plays are 9/4* 7/1 (the play I'm guessing you made since Whorey didn't like it) and the stack 'em up hope to win the race play of 9/3 7/2.

I'm not sure if being up 12 pips but not on shake in a relatively long race is enough to stack them up or not. I think I prefer the hit, esp. against a weaker player - all the men in the zone don't hurt any either. White's blot is pretty huge, duping 4s as a small bonus, but if that were made the safe play would be monstrously correct.
