3rd Edition of Robertie's 501 Essential Backgammon Problems

I was about to begin reading my copy of Robertie's 501 Essential Backgammon Problems and learned there is a third (3rd) edition.

Is the third (3rd) edition really different from the second (2nd) edition (ISBN 13: 978-1-58042-349-6, a.k.a., "NEW 2017 EDITION")?
