Someone saying something inaccurately does not then make it correct.

But since you seem to put so much faith in Tom Kieth's site, note that the definition there references posts by Mary and Marty and you only mention Marty's. Mary's includes "Scores like 2-away 6-away with 2-away holding a dead 2-cube have elements of GG and GS but aren't quite the same."

Also, note that it does not include a definition for "pure gammon save" which you seemingly think everyone uses.
