We'll be slightly behind in the race after this play so maybe hanging back to maintain contact is the right idea.

But making the nine gives us a broken 4 prime and most of the time she'll either be forced off the anchor, giving us lots of shots, or she'll crunch her board.

Alternatively, the 11 point will be easier to clear than the nine, so maybe that's the bot move. If we were ahead in the race I'd give that play more consideration.

QF says otherwise, but I'll just make the nine point.
